What all do I pay?
It’s pretty simple! You’ll have one yearly payment of $20.00 for your domain name. Everything else—like hosting and keeping the site updated—is just one easy monthly total. No taxes included.
You don't pay your first hosting bill until your free or custom website design is completed. If you decide that you don't want it anymore after we've completed it. That's okay too!

What assets do I need to provide (photos, copy, logos)?
That’s a great question! To make sure your site looks and feels like your brand, we’ll need a few essentials from you. Depending on your plan, here is the easiest way to send them:

For Free Website Design Clients: Everything is streamlined for you! Just head over to our Onboarding Form and fill in your details. It will walk you through uploading your logo and text step-by-step.

For Website Manager Clients: We use a Shared Google Drive Folder to keep things organized. It has specific spots for your logos, photos, and page text.

How do we communicate during the project?
At IDM Hosting, we work around your schedule and what’s easiest for you. We don’t want to bury you in complicated project management tools if you don't already use them, so if text messaging is easier than what we use, we're fine with that too! Our designers and developers will always use your chosen method to reach out.
What is the typical timeline for a new website build?
This varies depending on how busy we are and what you are asking for. We try not to take on more than we can handle.
What if I requested MORE than the Free Design Plan offers?
The design is always on us! We will still build and style your site—including an e-commerce store—for free. What you’re paying for is the custom setup. If you need special features that require custom coding, complex tools, or "under-the-hood" configuration to make the site work a specific way, there is a fee for that technical setup.
What is included in my hosting plan?
All of our free design plans include hosting and daily backups. Other plans include blogging, posting to social media, and website changes.

Who owns the website and domain once it’s finished?
Think of it like a house. If you pay for the full build, you own the keys and the land.

Free Design Plans: You own the 'land' (your domain name), but IDM Hosting owns the 'house' (the design) since it was provided for free as part of our service.
What is the typical timeline for a new website build?

What happens once the website is finished?
Once the site goes live, we'll send your first hosting invoice. You'll have 3 days to complete the payment. As soon as that's done, we will personally set you up with Administrator access to the backend so you have total control over your site!
How can I get my website designed for free?
Just ask someone on our team. Everyone automatically qualifies for our “One(1) at a Time, Free Website Design”
I lost my website. How do I get it back?
If your website has been deactivated due to an outstanding hosting or service fee balance, you may restore service by settling the overdue invoice.
Please note that accounts inactive for more than 45 days incur a $100 restoration fee.
What are all the services that IDm Hosting provides?
We provide Website Hosting Services, Website Design, Website Development, Social Media Marketing Services, Digital Marketing and Seo Services, Research Marketing, Content and Blog Writing, Copy Writing, Website & Project Management, and Graphic Design Services.
I can’t afford my hosting this month. Can you help?
Yes, we would love to help. Please send a text to (972) 379-7005 for assistance. Otherwise, there is a 3-day grace period and another 2 days before your account is suspended. It will be automatically terminated after 30 days. There is a $45 restoration fee within 10 days after termination.
Can my website connect to my social media page?
Yes. You will be able to make those connections with a free or premium plugin from the repository.
Can I Upload & Manage my Products?
Yes. As soon as the site is ready, we’ll take it live! At that time, we’ll send over your first hosting invoice, which has a 5-day window for payment. Once that’s settled, we’ll manually add you as an Administrator, giving you full access to the backend of your new website.
How do I request updates or changes to my site?
You can request those changes online or send a text or email to get the conversation started.
Will my website work on phones and tablets?
Definitely. Mobile-friendly design is a standard part of every project we do. Your visitors will have a great experience no matter what device they are using to find you.
My site looks a bit dated; can it be refreshed?
Absolutely. We offer 'Design Refreshes' for existing clients to keep your brand modern. Our redesign packages start at $350—feel free to reach out for a quote.
How much to transfer to you?
Nothing. You get the same as everyone else. We only ask that you reach out to us before completely canceling your current host.
Is my website backed up?
Absolutely. We perform full automated backups daily. These backups are stored securely off-site, ensuring that your data can be fully restored even in the event of a major emergency.
When will I receive my hosting invoice?
Invoices are generated and sent via email according to your billing cycle (monthly or annually). To ensure uninterrupted service, we recommend setting up automated payments or settling invoices within the grace period provided.
What Payment Methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and secure online payment methods. Invoices are sent electronically to ensure timely delivery and easy record-keeping.
Do you accept Cash app?
Yes. You can pay by cash app. However, we do not send or request anything by cash app.
What all do I pay?
You pay per year for your domain ($20.00), and a monthly hosting and/or maintenance cost. No taxes & some fees may apply.
We also negotiate service costs for our clients. If you are on a custom plan tailored just for you, you won’t see your prices. Create an account then Contact Support.
Can I choose my due date?
Of course, you can send us an email or even a text to get the conversation started.
How do I cancel my service?
You can send us an email or even a text to get the conversation started. If you choose, you can open a support ticket from inside the client area.
MAKING PAYMENTS
We offer flexible payment terms that fit your budget. Your monthly services are billed once a month, and we’ll send a reminder to your inbox to keep things easy. For any one-time add-ons, we usually send a separate invoice—but we are happy to bundle everything together if that’s easier for you! We accept all major credit cards for your convenience.
SETTING UP A SUBSCRIPTION
To setup a subscription you need to just pay your invoice any day after it's generated but at least one day before it's due date.
(This is optional. If you make a payment after it's due you will not get this option and must reach out to Customer Service or wait until your next billing date.)
What is a Upfront Payment?
A Upfront Payment is to pay a deposit before we start or finish the project. This is a small amount of the entire payment that is deducted from the full balance at the time the remainder is due.
Payments and Cancellations for Services
Payments | Cancellations
Cancellation Policy – Cancellations are required at least 8 days before a Client’s next billing date by submitting a support ticket online. Client may not terminate this Agreement prior to the second billing. After the second billing date, Client reserves the right to cancel this Agreement with 8 days notice. Cancellations need to be processed and confirmed by our billing department. Cancel requests sent to employees outside of the billing department are not guaranteed.
We do not issue prorated refunds for cancellations received early in a billing period, but we will finish out the month(s) if requested (this includes multi-month plans where the Client has received a discount, however we will require the discounted price to be voided and be paid the difference before continuation of Service). No cancellations within 8 days of renewal. Any Client receiving paid advertising services commits to a minimum of 90 days, no refunds.
