If you use Eventbrite to manage registrations or sell tickets, you can connect your event to your WordPress website so visitors can register without searching for it elsewhere.

Depending on your website setup, you can add a simple registration button or display the Eventbrite checkout directly on a page.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

A published Eventbrite event
Access to your Eventbrite account
Your event’s registration link
Access to your WordPress dashboard

Your event must be published before visitors can register.

Option 1: Add an Eventbrite Registration Button

This is the simplest option and works with most WordPress websites.

Step 1: Copy Your Eventbrite Link

• Sign in to Eventbrite.
• Open your Event Dashboard.
• Select Share.
• Copy the link to your event.

Eventbrite also allows organizers to customize an event’s web address to make it easier to remember and share.

Step 2: Add the Link to WordPress

• Sign in to your WordPress dashboard.
• Open the page where you want the registration button to appear.
• Add a Button block or button element.
• Enter button text such as:
  • Register Now
  • Purchase Tickets
  • Reserve Your Seat
  • View Event Details
• Paste your Eventbrite link into the button’s URL field.
• Select the option to open the link in a new tab if desired.
• Save or update the page.

Test the button after publishing to make sure it opens the correct event.

Option 2: Embed Eventbrite Checkout on Your Website

Embedded checkout allows visitors to register or purchase tickets without leaving your website.

Step 1: Get Your Eventbrite Embed Code

1. Sign in to Eventbrite.
2. Open the event you want to display.
3. Select Marketing.
4. Select Embedded Checkout.
5. Choose the checkout display you prefer.
6. Copy the provided embed code.

Eventbrite provides official instructions for using Embedded Checkout on a website.

Step 2: Add the Code to WordPress
Sign in to your WordPress dashboard.
Open the page where you want the checkout to appear.
Add a Custom HTML block.
Paste the Eventbrite embed code into the block.
Preview the page.
Publish or update the page.

If your website uses a page builder, look for an element named HTML, Custom HTML, Code or Embed.

Some page builders or website security settings may remove portions of embedded code. If that happens, contact your website manager before installing additional plugins or changing security settings.

WordPress.com Websites

WordPress.com includes an Eventbrite Checkout block on supported websites.

To use it:

Open the page or post editor.
Click the plus sign to add a block.
Search for Eventbrite Checkout.
Add the block to your page.
Paste your Eventbrite event URL.
Choose either an in-page checkout or a button with a pop-up window.
Publish or update the page.

Test the Registration Process

Always test the connection before promoting your event.

Check that:

The correct event opens
The event date and time are accurate
Ticket options appear correctly
The registration form works on a phone
Confirmation emails are being delivered
The page looks correct on desktop and mobile

If you are selling tickets, you can begin the checkout process without completing the purchase to confirm that the form loads properly.

Should You Use a Button or Embedded Checkout?

A registration button is usually the best choice when you want a fast, simple setup. It also keeps your event page uncluttered.

Embedded checkout may be better when you want visitors to stay on your website throughout most of the registration process.

Either option can work well. The best choice depends on your website’s design, the number of ticket options and the experience you want to give your visitors.
